Ricardo & Michelle will be traveling with their
Dance Team PB&G Productions in September, and we
have an amazing European tour ahead of us! We
will be in Berlin to teach and perform for the
Berlin Salsa Congress then head over to
Amsterdam for a little bit of partying and
sightseeing. From there we will be in Paris
before going to London and ending our trip to
teach and perform at Paul Young's UK Salsa
Congress.

12:15pm registration /12:45 pm start time.
Please dress
appropriately in workout attire and arrive
on time.
We are selecting 3
trained dancers for PB&G Pro Team.
No need to have a
routine prepared, I will teach you a
footwork combination and partnerwork
combination to perform. If selected, you
will move on to a final audition later in
the week.
We are looking for
dancers trained in any combination or all of
the following: jazz, ballet, tap,
gymnastics, with experience in Ballroom or
Salsa. Must be able to travel out of the
country.

The most
prestigious Amateurs Only Salsa Dance Competition is
held every year at Hot Salsa Friday's Dance
Spectrum.
4 weeks of
Qualifying Rounds starting February 18th! We will
select 2 couples each week to go to the Semi finals.
Over $1500 in cash and prizes!

FINALS
We select 2 couples each week to send to the semifinals, for a max total of 8 couples.
From there we select 6 to go to the Finals and we will have a 1, 2nd and 3rd place winner.
Cash and prizes total $1500.
In the qualifying rounds each couple will dance to 1.5 minutes of salsa music-DJ's choice. Once you qualify, you should be prepared with a routine and costumes for the semi-finals and music of your own choice with a max time of 2min. Your music will be shut off at the 2 minutes interval if it goes ov er. Same rules for the Finals.
You will be judged on :

EXECUTION/CHOREOGRAPHY
PRESENTATION/SHOWMANSHIP
CONNECTION (LEADING & FOLLOWING)
TECHNIQUE
Teachers are not allowed to compete.
CONTEST RULES
- There will be 4 weeks of preliminary rounds, held at PB&G Productions’ Hot Salsa Fridays. Winners of the preliminary rounds will be selected by a panel of professional judges. Contestants must arrive for each qualifying week by 10pm to qualify.
- Performance order of competitors will be determined each night by lotto.
- For each Qualifying Round, contestants will have a warm-up dance of 1.5 minutes with all dancers on the floor dancing to the DJ's pre-selected music. Each couple will then perform by themselves, in the order determined by lotto, for 1.5 minutes to the DJ's pre-selected music.
- Contestants may re-enter as many times as they like until they become Finalists.
- No change of partners can occur after you have qualified.
- Costumes or matching outfits are encouraged.
- If ANY money has been accepted for teaching, professional performances, or have won First Prize in a previous Hot Salsa Friday Dance Contest, or any PB&G Event, you are considered a Professional.
- Contestants will show etiquette during the contest by refraining from distracting others while a competing couple is dancing.
- Couples that make it into the Final Round will bring their own pre-recorded music on CD to perform after the warm-up round. Warm-up round will be 2 minutes to DJ's music. Routine will be a maximum of 2 minutes of own recorded music. Contestants must please arrive by 10pm. Performance order of competitors will be determined by lotto.
- All decisions are final.

Ricardo and Michelle and PB&G just returned
from Reno Nevada's 1st Annual Dance Sensation
as instructors and performers with their dance
team sweeping a good majority of the Salsa
Awards.
After teaching 2 workshops, we had
an awesome performance Saturday night in the
HUGE Hilton Hotel in Reno! The crowd was
incredible and we partied with the West Coast
Swing dancers and Lindy dancers as well as
Salseros!
Thanks to all the Bay Area Salseros that
came to this event. Don't miss this event next
year!
